ADHD. i match all the symptoms..?

ive had a tought time in general and my friend linked me to ADHD. ive looked it up, and i found out i match all of the symptoms listed. i told my parents but they say most teens my age always say that to get the prescribeed adderall/stratera/ ridalin for fun. im not wanting it for fun, i jus want to be able towork on my own, at an time, not be distracted, or not for the people who take it for fun. im concerned about myself only. how do i tell the doctor without him thinking im lk the others who say that.
