Is it weird for a 14 year old dating a 17 year old guy?

My 16 year old girlfriend cheated on me with a 20 year old for 3 months. I thought it was weird. But what is weirder is that the just found his body at bottom of the pacific ocean with anvils tied to his legs. Weird....
