My incognito wont work?

I wanted to make a call and whenever i press talk it showed the person's name their picture their number and "connecting", it doesn't go to the timer after like its supposed to. I restarted it 3 times took the battery out and cleaned it aswell. I have a sanyo incognito from boost mobile. Any thoughts?
