If your 18 and you had open heart surgery can you still get a tattoo?

hi im brandon, i have had heart surgery at 9 days old i had transpetation of the great vessels where they swiched the to main vessels in my heart, can i get a tattoo if i had that? i take meds in the morning called lisinapril but i still need to know if i can get a tattoo? i only had surgery once tho
