Why won't my hypercam clip play?

Okay so I was recording something on my laptop using Hypercam 2, and in the midst of my recording, my laptop died. Upon restart, I went to my documents to see if the clip had saved, and sure enough it was there. However, when I tried playing it, it said it was corrupt. The file size seems about right for the duration of the clip, but it still will not play it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
