ive had a tought time in general and my friend linked me to ADHD. ive looked it up, and i found out i match all of the symptoms listed. i told my parents but they say most teens my age always say that to get the prescribeed adderall/stratera/ ridalin for fun. im not wanting it for fun, i jus want to be able towork on my own, at an time, not be distracted, or not for the people who take it for fun. im concerned about myself only. how do i tell the doctor without him thinking im lk the others who say that.

With ipod difficulties, send it into apple repair. I don't know how long you have had it, but ipod's older than 4 years typically need to be replaced. If it is newer than that, then it may just have a defect and need to be replaced. There are so many possibilities to why it is acting up, if it doesn't go back to normal in a few days just take it to have it looked at.

I have Windows Server 2008 r2 and am trying to install sharepoint foundations 2010. I click install prerequisites and it says installing hotfix kb976462. I left it like this for 8 hours and it didn't do anything. It gets to the very end of the bar and doesn't stop. I end up having to end the process wusa.exe. Before I start I'd like to say that the younger generations are growing up too fast (You'll figure out why I'm saying that in a minute.) So, I have one younger brother. He's 10 years old and he's getting a phone on thurs., he has a laptop, and he pretty much gets whatever he wants. He's bellyaching to my dad right now to get him a pool and bellyaching to my mom to get him a mini bike or a dirt bike. He thinks he's so cool and he treats me like **** all the time. He also thinks that if I get something (I usually have to pay for the stuff I get), he automatically gets one too. When I go to the mall shopping, if I'm with my mom, she get something for him, and if I'm on my own my mom tells me to pick something out for him because if I don't, he has a big fit and says that he never gets anything and that they like me better. Like today, I went to target and got myself a headset and some stuff to make smores with. When we got home, my brother came into my room and said, " You have a headset?" and I was like "Yeah?". He asked me why I didn't get him one. (This happened about 20 minutes ago) I told him that he can get one when he gets his laptop fixed (he crashed his computer when he downloaded some stuff of the internet and I'm pretty sure he got hacked.) He's probably complaining to my mom right now, and I'll be the one that has to go get him one because I told my mom that she should wait until his laptop gets fixed, because it's no use having it when he can't use it, right? So I was on skype with my friends when he came in and he said that he wanted to talk to them. So I unplugged the headset and said "Talk into the microphone", and he said that he wanted to talk through the headset, which was on my face. I told him he was being ridiculous and that they're probably going to tell him to go away anyways, and he punched me in the arm. A legit, punch it the arm. I seriously think he may have broken a few blood vessels because it's all red and there are two decent sized cuts on my arm (he plays baseball and lifts weights- growing up to fast much?) After that, I told him to leave and he told me I was a jackass, and slammed my door shut (?) Again, he's probably complaining to my mom, and I bet I'm going to get in trouble because he's going to tell them I called him a jackass and that I punched him in the arm when he asked to see my headset. Am I being ridiculous or am I right?

Birth control pills, minor screw up, early period, when do I restart?

So I got kidney stones last week and was in the hospital for a good portion of the week due to pain, obstruction, and complications regarding that. Because of this, I was unable to take my birth control for 3 days. Didn't see it as a problem as I wasn't having sex anyway given the circumstances (DEFINITELY NOT IN THE MOOD!) I figured after my period I would just start a new pack and start over from there. But I got my period a whole week early, most likely caused by the missed pills? At first I thought it was a real period, my flow was very heavy the first day but the next day it was very light and today it's pretty much non-existant. My periods usually last a good 5 or 6 days. I was supposed to get my period next Wednesday, should I still start a new pack on Sunday or wait to see if I have a real period next week?

ERecovery black screen?

I used eRecovery to reformat my system to factory. as I was doing that i had to leave my house for an emergency. When i left it was deleting the hard drive space. When i came back my screen was black. and nothing would happen, So I ended up restarting. Now I just get a black screen and no bios. Computer sounds like nothing is on inside, noise wise. one beep when the machine turns on as normal.

Having laptop issues?

I have what is called a "notepad", which is essentially a smaller version of a laptop, if you didn't know. i played through infamous 2 on bad karma and didnt have a problem with the sound until the very end of the game. the sound would start to cut in and out every now and then which was no big deal. i am now going through the game on good karma and now the sound problem is happening way more often and its starting to cut out the voices on the missions. is there anything i can do besides restarting my ps3 because ive already tried that.

Dell Dimension 4600 Problem?

Okay, so i have a dell dimension 4600, and whenever i try to start up the computer, i go to start windows xp or whatever its called, I'm not very good with computers to be honest :p so just bare with me. Anyways, the computer just restarts and goes back to starting again and gives me the options for safe mode, setup utility, startup windows etc., I've gone to all those options and it just restarts all of the time. I went to the bios and i cannot touch anything because the security has an admin password which unlocks all the options to access, and without the password, i cant access anything on the bios including a bootup to restart the whole entire computer back to normal, How can i fix this problem, because i cannot access my computer at all, Do i have to open up the computer and take out the pins from the password jumper and take out the battery from the motherboard, or what other options do i have? if i have to do option number one which i stated above, can someone please find me a documentation of how to take out the battery from the motherboard and taking out the pins from the password jumper.

Laptop will not boot OS or BIOS?

OK, so this morning, I woke up and turned my Toshiba Satellite a505-s6965 laptop on, and left the room. I have a dual boot, so it boots to the grub menu, and after 10 seconds, automatically loads to linux. When I came in, it was loading to linux, so I pushed the power button and turned it off, as I have done countless times. Then, when I turned the computer on, the computer loaded past the option to load BIOS, and then got to a black screen, with a little white underscore in the top right corner, this normally does this, but now it was not blinking. I waited 5 minutes, still the same thing. I restarted and tried to load BIOS, by pressing F2, as it says, but this does not respond, and it goes back to the black screen. I took out my Ubuntu LiveCD, and popped it in, and tried to load it from that, still nothing. This, was where I was assuming that the HDD got messed up. That did not work, so I went to an identical a505-s6965 and swapped out hard drives. The working laptop loaded all my files without a problem, and the broken laptop would not load the files of the working one, with out doing the same thing. So, what could my problem be?

Pulmonary Embolism question?

I had bi-lateral pulmonary embolisms 5 months ago post-op and was hospitalized for a few days. My symptoms were 9/10 pain, could not move due to pain, shortness of breath, low sats, tachycardia, etc... The Doc said the pain should go away within 4-6 weeks. Since then, I have had the usual "zingers" of extreme pain which only last for a few seconds, and an ache of about 2-3/10 pain which comes and goes almost on a daily basis. But I have also occasionally been having signs of new PE's as well. This has happened about 3-4 times over the last 5 months, each time getting worse. Yesterday I had the *exact* same symptoms as my original PE with 9/10 pain, dyspnea, shortness of breath, etc... and But here is the kicker. These "attacks" are temporary and yesterdays episode only lasted about 10 minutes or so and left as quickly as it came. These are debilitating and cannot move or breath while I have them. I have to sit in a semi-tripod position and take very short, shallow breaths to keep the pain down. I have been treated for pleurisy (which I don't meet the criteria for but willing to try anything) and cannot distinguish the symptoms between my original PE and these episodes. However, I know that symptoms of a PE don't just "go away" like mine have been. I really feels like I have a sudden blockage of my vessel which breaks loose and allows blood flow again. Perhaps scar tissue or left over PE, I have no idea but am a Paramedic/Firefighter and return to work this week and CANNOT have this problem while on duty. My Doc doesn't know what is going on (she has referred me to yoga and acupuncture. I am looking for a new Doc right now) and need to get this problem fixed. I have searched the internet tirelessly and haven't found anything remotely comparable to my symptoms. Any thoughts?

Itunes can't locate my songs?

I had to restart my computer so I used DiskAid (it's very useful!) to transfer all my music from my iPod touch to my Itunes. It worked, but I then moved all the music files (the ones with random titles) from my desktop into another folder that I had. Now whenever I click on the songs that have been transferred, it says: "The song could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" And since all those songs are in a strange, random order, is there a faster way to locate all those songs? Please help!

Why wont Battlefield: Bad Company 2 start?

I just downloaded Steam as well as Bad Company 2. When I click play, the screen goes white for a second, then disappears. When I checked the task manager, the only thing running was Steam. I tried restarting both Steam and my computer, but to no avail. Turning off the real time scan on my security software (McAfee) didn't work either. I'm 13 and me and my best friend Raquel have been best friends since we were 2. we have mostly been on the chubby side but not fat. i was 5'4 and weighed 135. she was 5'6 and weighed 149. i always felt deppresed about my weight but i was tall so you couldnt really tell i weighed that much. Raquel started going out with Jon he was the super cute jock that every girl wanted to go out with. later on in the relationship Jon stood up infront of the whole school and dumped Raquel and called her a fat whore. She was so hurt. I went over to her house and we talked about Health Class and about everything we were learning like bulimia,anorexia,purging,binging. And that was her solution to being fat. She made me promise that I would do it with her and I did because I was scared that I was going to loose my bff. This is how our day went: wake up for school run a little late so we wouldn't have to eat what our moms had made and just grab a granola bar or apple and throw it away on the bus. For lunch we would bring our lunch and just eat a little like a fourth of a sandwich and go to the bathroom and puke it up. For dinner we would eat as little as possible just enough for our parents not to notice and go to the bathroom and throw it up. That's how it is still because we don't feel beautiful and no matter how much weight we loose its never going to be enough.

External 1tb Mybook unreadable?

while I was watching some videos from my internal hard drive my computer restarted to install updates. Once the desktop loaded afterwards, windows explorer was very laggy and unresponsive. So, I unplugged my external hd and it solved the issue. But, now when I plug it back in I get a message box saying I need to format it before I can use it and I can't browse it at all. Also It doesn't show up as Mybook(L:) anymore. Now it's Local Disk(L:). I've tried plugging it into multiple usb ports and still the same issue. I have the entire drive completely full of irreplaceable data, so formatting is absolutely out of the question. Another odd thing is that the Western Digital Smartware drive still shows up as it usually does. I'm currently using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Anyone have a fix for this issue?

Are non stick cookwares cause serious health issues?

I heard from some one that cooking and eating in nonstick cookwares will lead to cause of cancers in long shot. Is this true? What's wrong with my computer?

I built a computer about 6 months ago, installed windows 7, and recently it's been having problems. ever since I installed windows the sound will not work after waking up from sleep, but only sometimes, and it works if I do a restart. the internet is sometimes a lot slower than other computers on the same network. And this next one has only happened twice, the hotkeys in starcraft 2 don't work or do different keys functions, but when I quit starcraft they work again. I have a quad core AMD proccessor, 4GB of ram, and a Nvidia Gforce GT240 video card, but a hard drive from a really old PC. what could I try to fix this? would reinstalling windows or buying a New HD help?

Okay, I was trying to access some pages for my summer school assignment, and my computer went through one of those windows autmatic updates. My online summer school class, a writing site, forums I post on, etc etc. They just won't load. I switched over to google chrome which i have but never used and the same thing happened. Okay, I'm like something is REALLY wrong. There was no system restore point for me to go back to, and this problem is still happening while I am in safemode with networking. Now, I'm scared, and don't know what to do. This computer doesn't belong to me, its my grandmother's, and I'm using it to do my summer school which it won't let me get to. I need to know what's going wrong, because I'm on the verge of crying this second. What to do with my dog having bloody noses?

I have a beagle mix who is about 6 years old. Recently, she started having bloody noses. The first two weren't bad at all and I just figured it was a busted blood vessel because it followed a violent sneezing attack (I read about it on the internet). She later had a really bad one where we took her to the vet emergency room. They said her liver was enlarged after a body ultrasound. We didn't have enough money to have everything done that they wanted to do (the vet said the ultrasound was #1 in his opinion). She was fine for several weeks, although we kept her sedated for a good part of it. Now she is starting to bleed again and I don't know what to do. Do I take her to the humane society or a pet rescue organization? I would much rather her be healthy and live, even if it isn't with us since we can't spend hundreds of dollars on her. My fear now is that we will be charged with animal cruelty or neglect, when that isn't the fact. Unfortunately, the economy has taken a toll on the amount of money we can spend on our pets aside from normal care/diet/etc. The vet said that nothing really needed to be done until her demeanor changed. She is still eating, drinking, acting regular and still shaking her little tail when she sees us. Our only other option is to put her down, which I'd like to find an alternative. Any ideas on what I should do and what consequences could come of this? We are located in Orlando, FL and have looked into taking her to the Humane Society or Pet Rescue by Judy. Thanks in advance!

Computer Log-In Problem?

I have a windows xp computer and i just put a password on it that I still remember. I tested it after I set it and I logged in successfully and I came back a couple of hours ago to log in but it didn't work. Drove my car through water and wont start?

Drove my car through what didn't look like that deep of a puddle apparently it was, my car died almost all the way through, it's an 01 chrysler sebring. That water wasn't that deep possibly to the bottom of my door? I was a dumb *** and tried to restart it in the water. I pushed it out onto dry ground. Tried to crank it and it sounded like it was trying to fire, making that initial turning over noise. I pulled the air filter ( not the spark plugs yet seeing how i had no tools at the moment). Eventually it just started tapping really fast when i tried to crank it, sounded more electrical plus the lights flashed in the car everytime the tapping noise occured. Had it towed to my house and this am i tried to crank it and it made the tapping noise, i turned the key to battery mode where electronics come on let it sit for a min and tried to crank it which made it try to crank without the tapping noise, it did sound like my batter way dying at that moment in time though. If i let it dry out a bit longer and hook some jumper cables up to it is it savable without anymore work? I wasn't in that deep of water and my water intake is RIGHT under the hood so i dno't know what happened.

Why won't my hypercam clip play?

Okay so I was recording something on my laptop using Hypercam 2, and in the midst of my recording, my laptop died. Upon restart, I went to my documents to see if the clip had saved, and sure enough it was there. However, when I tried playing it, it said it was corrupt. The file size seems about right for the duration of the clip, but it still will not play it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I have lymphedema in both feet/legs now for 26 years. I live in the UK. My experiences with this condition is that it is not curable but treatable to control the condition. In the last 3 yrs I received my first set of treatments due to my own research for help. For those who unaware of what it is, it is swelling in the limbs caused insufficient lymph vessels to carry away lymph fluid. What I wanted to know is if this is regarded as a disability? Why GPs in the UK ignore primary lymphedema patients and if anyone knows of other advice I can get. I know there are many outside the UK. All recommendations will be taking into consideration. BTW my own GP is unhelpful. I want more direction.

Can someone help me install windows 7 on my macbook pro?

When I try to install windows 7 ultimate using boot camp it goes thru everything smoothly, but after i set the computer name and set the date and time settings, my computer restarts and freezes on the "press any key to boot from disk....." screen. I have gone thru the process about 3 or 4 times and this happens everytime. My Mac osx still works perfectly, but when I select boot from windows the screen freezes.

MY COMPUTER!!! There's something wrong!?

I was try to put in an add in card, but me being silly. I put it in the wrong way. I was doing this while my PC was on...now whenever. I go to start it up I get this screen that says launch startup repair or start windows normally. I ran the repair and it went to start it?was at the windows 7. Starting screen for 15 mins. I got fed up and restarted the BIOS. And tried put both of my harddrives in raid, I saved and booted up and got screen asking me the same stuff as before. I chose start windows normally and almost instantly got a blue screen. I went back to BIOS and changed everything to failsafe defualts and still get a blue screen. Please help me.

Ive been playing two games today and have gotten achievements for both of them and when I go to see them it says that I dont have any and also that I havent even played a game. And it wont show my avatar and it shows no last played games and no gamer rateing. I have no idea why, but when I restart my xbox it will go back to normal. I'm sure I want to become a surgeon. I know the time, hard work and devotion it takes so please don't try and sway me saying things like its too hard because i don't care...I'm saving peoples lives and it makes me happy. But my real question is making a mistake? Ive heard that if you make a mistake that you will get fired and if serious enough jail time. I'm dedicated and can be patient but I'm afraid if I make a mistake I'll get fired and waste all the schooling time and wont get to practice what I love.I don't mean mistakes that are of incompetence or coverups or even overdoses...I mean mistakes such as accidentally making a bigger incision or cutting the wrong vessel or things to that effect that would cause injury or even death? Wireless N300 PCI Adapter not working, please help?

I have an Encore ENLWI-NX2 wireless card, and my friend helped me install it and it has been working for a long time now. But today another friend help me set up some stuff in msconfig and I did a restart and now it doesn't work at all. It says something about the 4 and 6 protocols but those are set, and another thing about it's drivers not working. If anyone has any clue on how I can get it working again that would be awesome. Screen is white when I turn my laptop on?

About a year ago I got an Inspiron 1545 as a graduation present. A few months after I got it I started seeing a white line across the top and the display wasn't as "smooth" as normal. I ignored it, not thinking it'd get worse. However, this morning I turned it on and the screen was immediately white. It got stuck on "loading windows" or whatever, so I turned it off and restarted it. It was fine. I turned it on a few minutes ago and the screen was white. I heard the "windows logon" sound, pushed against the screen (which is what I do to get it "smooth" again) and it showed the screen (unsmooth) and froze. But after a few seconds it was back to normal. Any idea what's going on and how much it would cost to fix? I need it for my first year of college in August. :(

Small blood filled bump below stomach. Any ideas?

I have a small raised bump under my stomach area. It is almost like a pimple/zit but it is soft and full of blood and sometimes puss. I have popped it before and it seems to never stop bleeding. It has been there for at LEAST 3 months and won't heal. I have researched online for what it may be and haven't seen anything that looks or sounds like it. I thought maybe a blood blister or broken blood vessel but I don't think that's it. Has anyone else had anything like this and do know know what it is and how to handle it? It'a good, but leaning toward purple prose. Maybe try to take out a few adjectives. The method I use for this sort of thing is look through my whole excerpt, find adjectives, and highlight them (in Word, or whatever) and then I read the sentences to see what adjectives are necessary. I take out the unnecessary ones. Good luck!

Ok so this is a little weird but my moms friend went on a fishing trip, and brought her a frog, to eat. It sounds weird and I promise you I don't eat them but my parents like them. Windows XP Install help?

I'm using an iso image of Windows XP SP 2, and I've installed through iso before, on the same computer. Currently, I have Windows Vista, and i've become tired of the constant slowness (the computer I'm using is made for XP). I've tried two options; unzipping the iso and starting the SETUP straight from there (which is what usually works), and also mounting the iso and restarting the computer. When I use the first method, I press install Windows XP and it says "This program was blocked due to compatibility issues". And the second method, nothing happens. Can someone help me?
